Third-party firmware: firmware alternativi opensource

Forse non tutti sanno che su alcuni modelli di router è possibile installare versioni di firmware non ufficiali, ovvero non rilasciate dalla case produttrici, ma sviluppate dalla community
 
Grazie a questi firmware  è possibile implementare diverse funzioni non gestite dalle versione originali, tra queste ricordiamo: WDS, IPv6, QOS avanzato, RADIUS, controllo della potenza radio, possibilità di overclocking etc...

già, Fastweb blinda i suoi dispositivi, tanto che uno non può nemmeno sapere i valori della sua linea... il che è abbastanza fastidioso e odioso

Ok, grazie,immaginavo. Ma sarebbe ora che qualcuno iniziasse a lavorare a qualche trucco, avranno pure un buco...in informatica un buco ci sarà sempre...coperta troppo corta...
